An Introduction: Groupmates

For my next project, I am happy to be working with Kayla again, along with Hervis. We have not had the opportunity to discuss the specifics of our projects, but I know that we will soon. She is intelligent, hard-working, honest, and determined in regards to her academics. It is for these reasons that I am excited to be working with her. Also, we have worked together on a project before. It was a PowerPoint on the basic filming terms, with the definitions and examples. I have not worked formally with Hervis before, but I will not doubt his determination or his teamwork skills that I have witnessed in passing.

In regards to how we will work together, I know that will be discussed. However, I am prepared to take up whatever task needs to be done. I know that one of my biggest pet peeves is people who don't lift their weight in group projects and I refuse to become one of them. Brainstorming has been less than convenient without a partner, but I have been thinking. I know that depending on what we do, we can incorporate a tilt or a pan for dramatic effect. I am also thinking about the genre and how it will impact the story we plan to tell. The conventions of music videos are vary heavily based on the genre, storyline, and budget, meaning they will have a strong impact on the outcome of this project.

Going back to my partners, Kayla and Hervis. I became friends with Kayla year and am acquainted with Hervis. I met Kayla in my first period class and she has a very outgoing personality. She seems like a great friend and a great worker, too. I've seen Hervis at work when I asked for his help with our first project, the pen commercial. He seems to cooperate well with others. While working on this, we all can communicate in and outside of class and I know they both will answer to the best of their abilities. Overall, I am excited to be working with them and on this next  project.
