Planning for Chico's Revenge

  Props :   Our three actors will begin holding snacks from a convenience store, including chips and soda. We plan to buy these supplies at the convenience store when we arrive. We will also later use a simple backpack, borrowed from Ariel, a flashlight, borrowed from Naliah , a game controller that can be borrowed from Naliah or one of our actors, and a fake knife which will be bought online. Fake blood will also be used to dress the costumes.   Costumes :   Evan, Sam, and Noah will wear average clothes for their portrayed high school age, likely including jeans and T -shirts. Chico the Chihuahua will be suited in a simple collar and dog tag, which he already owns, and dressed in some fake blood.    Location :   We will have three main filming locations: the convenience store nearby the park , the isolated road , and inner woods in Easterlin Park . Editing Blog: Resolving the Issue and(Some) Final Touches!

So, last time I was here, I mentioned the fact that there was a pretty big issue when it came to my editing software, or just my computer in general. Apparently, I can't view the videos I edit after I export them and save them to my computer. The stated error message was "file type unsupported." So, cut to me, having a mild breakdown over this issue, when I finally decide to calm down and just Google it. In my personal opinion(even though it's clearly the truth), Google and YouTube hold every single piece of knowledge that humanity has discovered, making them great resources. So, I decide to Google this error code and see what I should do about it.  I was confronted with the fact that I  would need to download some software and tweak some aspects of my computer using the control panel. Filming Blog: Chico is Our Star Actor!

  We finally got to film! So today, we met up at Easterlin Park and started to scope out what we needed to do before we filmed all of our scenes with Chico. Chico is actually the name of Naliah’s chihuahua, which I did not know. I genuinely thought that was just a stereotypical chihuahua name that she just made up. But, my cluelessness aside, Chico was actually very cooperative, but I’ll focus on that later.  The first thing I want to focus on is how well Easterlin fits the vibe of our film. Not only does Easterlin have spots with the road being visible, it also has a lot of open forest. There are some paths, but it’s mostly just dark wooded areas, which fits perfectly for the nighttime scenes. Naliah told me more about the park and gave me a tour, so we could get our bearings and think about where we would film what scenes.
